Deanna Bunnell Olson

Deanna “Ning” Bunnell Olson, 66 of Port Orchard, sadly left us on March 15, 2024.

Deanna was Born on Feb. 21, 1958, in Bremerton, WA and was raised in Port Orchard, WA. She attended schools in South Kitsap, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1976. She married Gary Olson and through that union, was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Emily, and Lindsay. Deanna started out in the banking industry and then moved on to work in PSNS. Deanna will always be remembered for her infectious smile, laughter and her world-famous crab dip.

Deanna’s love for life, her family, friends, and pets never wavered. Even through her fight with an extended illness, she wanted to stay in Kitsap County so she could be close to her family and friends. Deanna's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness and warmth. She is now reunited with her loved ones in heaven, where she rests peacefully.

Deanna was born to Roy Bunnell Sr., and Shirley Bunnell (Payseno), who both proceeded her in death. She was survived by her Two Daughters Emily Olson (Doug) and Lindsay Orme (Byron). Two Granddaughters Cailin Orme and Teagan Orme. Three sisters, Donna Lunsford, Sherri Bates, and Susan Geisler. One brother, Roy Bunnell, Jr. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
