Carol Marks (Aronin) sadly passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024. Carol was born on July 25, 1942 in Seattle, and raised in Bremerton, Washington, together with her younger brother, Eddie Aronin. Her parents, Meyer and Ruby Aronin, owned Charleston Hardware store in Bremerton. After graduating from West Bremerton High School, she moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. There, she met her first love, Robert Arnstein. They married in 1965 & together they had 2 sons, Alan & Mark. Sadly, Robert passed away in 1975, leaving her to raise her two very young sons. She Re-married in 1976 & re-located to Vancouver, BC.. Carol was blessed with 10 grandchildren from her four kids, (Alan, Mark, Danna & Jill) Throughout the years Carol volunteered her time with a number of charities, Hadassah-WIZO, Camp Hatikvah, Dress For Success, & the Louis Brier Home and Hospital. Carol loved her routines, working out regularly, playing cards & going for dinner/movies with her friend's on Saturday night. She also loved the sun, & would take every opportunity to be outside. She will be fondly remembered for her iconic license plate, LV2TAN. Carol is survived by her 4 children,10 grandchildren, & her brother, Eddie. The funeral was held on January 8, 2024, at Temple Sholom in Vancouver.
