Poulsbo kicks off Kitsap's farmers market season, beginning Saturday

Farmers market season in Kitsap County begins Saturday, with Poulsbo's weekly gathering opening as March closes to kick off a season of warmer weather and increasing outdoor opportunities on the Kitsap Peninsula. Markets around the county will follow in the coming weeks. The following are the opening hours, days, and locations of the six farmers markets in Kitsap County.
Saturdays
- Poulsbo's farmers market will be launched between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays from March 30 to Dec. 14 in the parking lot of the Gateway Fellowship Church at 18901 8th Ave. NE.
- Starting April 6, Bainbridge Island Farmers Market will open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays through the end of November. The location is at the Town Square at City Hall at 280 Madison Ave N.
- Port Orchard Farmers Market will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., April 13 through Oct. 19 at the Port Orchard Waterfront Boardwalk.
Sundays
- The Kingston Public Market will start on May 5 and run through October, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Sundays. The market will be hosted next to the Kingston Ferry Terminal.
Tuesdays
- The Silverdale Farmers Market will open on April 30 and run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Silverdale Old Town Waterfront.
Thursdays
- The Bremerton Community Farmers Market will open on May 2 and run until October 10 on Thursdays between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Evergreen Rotary Park. The opening hours will be adjusted to 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for the fall season beginning the third Thursday in September.
