The Central Kitsap School District has listened to the concerns of the citizens.
Superintendent Prince and the administration has articulated the challenges facing our school district. They have reduced the amount of the levy dollars requested. They have also communicated organizational changes to trim the budget due to the loss of federal ESSER funding and lower than expected enrollment numbers. This reflects an organization always working to improve. Budgeting in a school district is hard work and they are putting in the effort.
CKSD is working for our staff and students while listening to the community. We choose to vote “Yes” on the resubmitted levy request in April.
